Watch: MBR’s first look at the DJI-powered Velduro Rogue high-pivot enduro e-bike

BRR Analysis
The Velduro Rogue, a high-pivot enduro e-bike featuring DJI’s Avinox M1 motor, has arrived at MBR for testing. This marks the first physical appearance of the bike for a major publication, following its initial reveal as a 3D-printed mockup at the China Cycle Show last May. MBR’s Danny Milner will be putting the Rogue through its paces, with initial workshop observations preceding any trail time.
This development is significant as it brings a previously conceptual model, powered by a relatively new player in the e-bike motor market, into the hands of independent reviewers. DJI, primarily known for drones, entering the e-bike motor arena with their Avinox M1 system, adds a compelling dynamic to an already competitive segment. Velduro's choice of a high-pivot design also signals an intent to compete at the performance end of the enduro e-bike spectrum, where suspension kinematics are paramount.
The industry will now keenly observe whether DJI's electronic prowess translates effectively to the demands of off-road cycling, or if this venture remains merely an interesting footnote.
