Drug testing comes to MyWhoosh racing

Virtual cycling platform MyWhoosh, the official host of the UCI Esports World Championships, has announced the implementation of anti-doping controls for its popular Sunday Race Club events. Beginning this month, a randomly selected group from a testing pool of approximately 700 athletes will undergo blood and urine testing, a significant step towards legitimising competitive virtual racing. This initiative marks a formal commitment to clean sport within the burgeoning esports cycling scene.
