Loam Pass Expands with 15 New Destinations
BRR Analysis
Loam Pass, the subscription service offering access to bike parks and trail networks, has announced a significant expansion, adding 15 new destinations to its portfolio. This brings the total number of participating locations across North America to over 70. Notable additions include popular spots like Killington Bike Park in Vermont and Snow Valley Bike Park in California, broadening the geographic reach and variety of terrain available to subscribers.
This expansion solidifies Loam Pass’s position as a dominant player in the multi-destination access model for mountain biking. Following its 2023 launch, the service quickly gained traction by mirroring the success of ski industry passes like Ikon and Epic. The inclusion of major East and West Coast venues indicates a strategic move to attract a wider demographic of riders, suggesting a maturing market for consolidated trail access and a potential shift in how riders plan their seasonal adventures.
While convenience is king, one must wonder how much more "access" the average rider truly needs. Still, for those with the time and budget to chase dirt across a continent, Loam Pass is certainly making it easier to justify that extra bike rack.
