Salsa Cycles has officially retired its long-standing Warbird gravel platform, introducing the new Flyway as its modern gravel racer. This successor boasts contemporary features such as fully internal cable routing, compatibility with both 1x and 2x drivetrains, and a redesigned frame geometry. The announcement, detailed by Bikerumor, also included updates to other gravel models within Salsa's lineup, signaling a significant refresh across their off-road offerings.

The Warbird, a staple in the gravel scene for over a decade, was one of the original dedicated gravel race bikes, earning a reputation for its comfort and capability.
